Our Review:
For Never winter! Never Winter
Nights 2 is an RPG type game based on chance. The game it’s
based from is Dungeons and Dragons, a fantasy game. The games
single player campaign is amazing and the graphics aren’t bad
either. The game is a strictly PC series. Read our review to see
if it’s good for you! The single player campaign is amazing. Not
as good as the first one, but still amazing. This game has to
have up to 100 hours of game play with optional quests to do. As
you go along in the game, you find more people to party up with
if you choose. You can be nice, and have many allies and party
members, or you can be mean to the public and play an evil
campaign. This will make the game tougher, though still fun. The
character creation is phenomenal as well. You have many races
including: Orc, Human, Half-Orc, elf, Half-elf, gnome, dwarf,
Halfling, and plane touched. It gives you many facial and body
customizations. The classes are many; basing off of 3rd
generation D&D. they bring in the prestige classes which require
certain requirements through the game to be one. As you level
up, you can choose different classes to mix with, like cleric,
and fighter. These will give you more abilities but will keep
you at pretty low level spells if you decide to combine classes.
So beware. The single player is fun and time consuming. The
battles are chance, and you take a gamble based on your
characters skills and stats. This is a need to buy game for RPG
fans, or just D&D fans.
The graphics are good for the time it came out, so the visuals will be pretty experiencing. They’re not the best, but definitely still enjoyable. You just need a decent computer to run it, so many will be able to play it. The multiplayer isn’t that great at all. Very iffy and difficult to figure out. I mean, the game is supposed to be strictly single player so the multiplayer doesn’t affect the game at all. Though, I think it should’ve been worked on more. Overall, this game could’ve had more work put into the multiplayer as well as the single player. Still, this is a must own for RPG or D&D fans.
