Our Review:
Ah, the World of Warcraft, a beautiful place to lead
your dark powers and strength against to light or the
scourge. World of Warcraft is a PC only game and
requires a monthly fee of $14.95. Or there are other
packages of payment used. Being the most popular MMORPG, it obtains over 7 million players! It doesn’t take much of a high-end computer to play without lag and can addict you for a long time!
One of the most fun parts is creating you own character. Make a Human, Gnome, Dwarf, Night Elf, and Dreani, for the Alliance. And an Orc, Troll, Blood Elf, Tuaren, and Undead for the Horde. You can choose to make your character male or female each with their own features. Each race also can use certain classes. Some races cant use certain classes. The classes consist of: Death Knight, Hunter, Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Warlock, Priest, Rouge, and Druid. Each has their own powers and abilities. Next, you choose the name of your traveler, you can either make one up and hope its not already being used, or randomize your name using one Blizzard came up with. After you’ve created your character you enter the world of Azeroth, on either Kalidmor, or the Eastern Kingdoms, depending on the race you chose.
As you do quests to level up you train for more powers and to upgrade existing ones. Of course, every thing has a price and as you get higher in your level, training becomes more expensive. To earn money you pick it up by selling, running dungeons, or questing and trading as well as auctioning things in the cities auction house. The original game allowed you to only go up to level 60, but with two expansions out you can now go up to level 80. As any RPG plays, you collect armor and equip it on yourself to increase your stats and keeps you alive in the tough fights!!! Also as you get higher in the level you might want to raid areas. This means going to a public village or town that you enemy settles at (either Alliance or Horde), and kill the guards and vendors and even the players if they choose to go PVP, which means to be able to fight other players. You will definitely want to do this with a group, and guards will infinitely respawn.
The game can get boring though as there are times when you don’t play for a long period of time, but all in one…..this game is the best MMORPG so far…only God knows who will beat it.
