None of the Radio Player's
stations or podcasts work.
If none of the
stations or podcasts work, then check
whether your computer meets all the
requirements below:
-
Operating system:
Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac
OS
-
Windows
requirements:
-
MAC OS
requirements:
-
To play
Windows Media stations, download
Flip4Mac
here
-
Some of the Radio Player's
stations or podcasts don't work.
There are two main
reasons why this may happen:
-
There may be a
problem with your media player's
settings. (Your toolbar's Radio Player
broadcasts by means of the media player
you're using.) We recommend that you
check its settings.
-
There may be a
problem with the radio station/podcast
itself. Since these are offered from all
over the Web and are not generated by
us, we cannot control their performance.
-
How can I customize my Weather
app?
Just click the
Weather app, and you will see these
options in the upper-right corner:
-
Change location
-
Change to C°/F°
-
Extended forecast
Notice that the
Weather app initially adjusts automatically,
showing you the weather according to the
location of your IP address.
-
I can't see accurate
information in the Weather app or find the name of my
town.
The Weather app is powered
by
www.intellicast.com,
which has the world’s largest commercial
meteorological database and displays the
accurate weather for hundreds of thousands of
locations all over the globe. It is not
possible, however, to represent every one of
these locations in the Weather app. In the event
that you cannot see accurate weather information
or find the name of your town, we suggest that
you visit the Intellicast site directly for more
information.
-

click the Predefined Apps
tab.

find customized searches there that we hope
you'll find useful.
-

menu.)
-
How do I log in to my Facebook
component?
Simply click on the
Facebook icon to open the Login dialog, where
you will be asked to log in by entering your
Facebook user name and password. This
information connects your Facebook app with your
Facebook account; it is stored in your own
toolbar’s Facebook app and is not used for any
purpose other than accessing your account.
Note: The very first time you log in, you will see an
additional dialog that asks you to allow access
to Facebook. This is an added protection layer
for your Facebook account. Click the “Allow
Access” button, and then you won’t see this
dialog again.
-
Why did a yellow star appear
on my Facebook icon?
This means that you have
received a new update on Facebook, such as a new
message, friend request, or group invitation.

Facebook status, why was I asked to provide my password?
The very first time you
click the Status item in your Facebook app menu,
you’ll be asked to provide your password and
then to allow status updates by clicking the
“Allow Status Updates” button. This is an added
protection layer for your Facebook account. Once
you have provided this information, you won’t
see the dialogs again.
-
How do I log out of my
Facebook app?
Click on your Facebook
icon to open the menu, and then click Logout.
This logs you out of your Facebook app and is
separate from your login status on Facebook
itself. When you are logged out your Facebook
app, you will not receive desktop notifications
with your Facebook updates, such as new messages
and friend requests.
Adding apps using Toolbar Options
Adding apps using the Add Stuff button
-
Where does the Add Stuff
button on my toolbar take me?
When you add an app, it
blinks and is highlighted on your toolbar so
that you can easily see the new addition. It is
added to the first position in the My Stuff area
to right of the Add Stuff
button. After you have added several apps
(depending on their size) to the My Stuff area,
any new apps will go into a chevron menu and
don't take up any more room.
-
When I add an app, how is it
added to my toolbar?
When you add a component,
it blinks and is highlighted on your toolbar so
that you can easily see the new addition. It is
added to the first position in the My Stuff area

button. After you have added several components
(depending on their size) to the My Stuff area,

show/hide, and change the position of the apps
you have added.
-
What if there isn't enough
room on my toolbar to add an app?
There's always room! After
you have added several apps to the My Stuff area
(depending on their size), any new components
will go into a chevron menu and don't take up
any more room.
-
I added an app, and now I
don't see it anymore.
Sometimes an app that was
offered in the Add Stuff page is removed by its
publisher. When that happens, it won't show up
on your toolbar anymore.
-
I saw an app in the Add Stuff
page that offers Alerts. What are they?
You may already be

your community toolbar publisher. The
notifications are short instant messages of
