Our Review: This strategy award winning game has been #1 for many total war fans. Just like it’s predecessors like medieval: total war and Shogun: Total War, it takes place in a specific time period that is accurate to its time. I’m sure you can all guess it takes place in ancient Roman times.

The Game combines Great graphics and fast paced historically based battles to give the ultimate gaming experience to those who like the genre. Command your vast Roman Armies like Hastati or Legionary chariots into glorious battle against the feared barbarians and even ancient Greeks. Not only can you command Romans but also Barbarian and Greek nations. With one of the largest campaign maps on a strategy game of its type you will control taxes, armies, cities, and much more! The game play on the battlefield is so unique and easy you can do it all with one hand!

Playing online is easy and fun. Finding a match is simple and can do siege battles, or just plan 1 on 1. There are also many expansions for the game such as Barbarian invasion and Alexander the Great. Barbarian invasion takes you to the start of the fall of the Roman empire and u can either defend what's left or destroy the rest. Alexander the Great takes you to the time where Alexander was beginning his conquest of Asia Minor.

There are also too many mods to count for the game which will allow many aspects to play the game on. Such as: star wars, SPQR, and much, much more! The game is great and if u like this type of genre and it’s time period pick it up and enjoy your conquest!
